Our Solution for Shingles and Pregnancy.

My wife has had shingles twice. The first time was two years ago. She had it for about two weeks and it was horrible. The doctor gave us some pain meds that dulled the pain some. Believe me, when they started to wear off my wife let me know right away.

Shingles must be one of the most painful things out there. It was so hard to sit by and watch my wife suffer and not be able to do anything about it. I empathize with anyone who has to go through this and am writing this because of the solution we found for shingles.

The second time my wife got shingles she was 5 months pregnant. She noticed the blisters starting to form on her back. I thought to my self this is horrible, not only is she getting shingles again but she is pregnant and CAN’T take any pain medication this time because of the pregnancy.

I did what most of you are doing and went to the internet. I started searching for different types of remedies for shingles when I stumbled across a youtube video talking about cold sores (herpes simplex virus I) and pregnancy. Because I have done my home work, I knew that herpes zoster virus (shingles) is related to herpes simplex virus I and II (cold sores).

So by the time we started with our shingles treatment there were already a group of blisters near my wife’s spine on her right side.
